Arrival from the airport to the Congress venue Prague Ruzyne Airport, the largest international airport in the Czech Republic and is located about 12 kilometers (8 miles) northwest from the center of Prague. From the airport: North/South E55, follow the signs to the city centre until you get to the river Vltava. Cross to the right river bank, and you will see the hotel on the left. The airport has no metro or train connection with the city center and is only served by buses and taxis, which are easily accessible.
By Taxi A taxi should not cost more than 600 CZK, which is about 24 Euro. By Bus Three local buses connect the airport to metro stations. No. 119 goes to Metro Dejvicka (green line A) No. 108 goes to Metro Hradcanska (green line A) No. 179 goes to Metro Nove Butovice (yellow line B) Local buses run between 5.00 and 24.00, approximately every 20 minutes and cost about 10 CZK.
There is also a relatively cheap airport bus which will get you to Namesti Republiky in the city center. These buses run roughly every half hour during the daytime.

Welcome Reception All registered participants and registered accompanying persons are invited to the Welcome Reception, which will take place on Thursday, May 13th at 19:30-21:00. Invitations are included in the personal registration kit.
Lunches Buffet lunch will be served for Congress participants in the Exhibition Area on Friday, May 14th between 12:30-13:30 and Saturday, May 15th between 12:30-13:30.
Invited Speakers Presentations Speakers and Oral Presenters are invited to visit the Speakers’ Preview Room prior to their lecture and upload their presentation on the morning of the day of their scheduled presentation.
Poster Presentations Please check the Congress Program for the poster board number assigned to you. Posters should be mounted from Friday, May 14th between 07:30-08:00 and removed by Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 13:00.
All poster authors are requested to be present near their posters on the day they are scheduled during the Guided Poster Tour on Friday, May 14 between 13:30-14:15 and on Saturday, May 15 between 13:30-14:15, as well as during coffee and lunch breaks. All registered participants are invited to view this important section!
CME Accreditation Please note once on-site that you have you CME Accreditation form in your kit. In order to receive your accreditation points, please submit the completed Serono Symposia CME Accreditation form to the registration desk before the end of the congress. Your CME Accreditation Certificate will be send to you directly.
CODHy Feedback Form Please note once on-site that you have a Feedback form in your kit. We would greatly appreciate hearing your comments. Once completed, this form may be handed in to the registration desk.

Visas Some participants may require a visa in order to enter the Czech Republic. Please check with your local Czech Consulate or Embassy.
Currency, banks and money exchange The official currency of the Czech Republic is the Czech crown (koruna), abbreviated as Kč, with the international abbreviation CZK. The approximate value of 100 CZK is 4 EUR/5 USD, although part of the EU the Euro is not widely used and it is recommended to have CZK available.
Dress Code Informal for all occasions
Climate May offers beautiful weather in Prague and spring time is warm and fairly dry. Daytime temperatures can be comfortably in the 20's.
