Friday, May 14, 2010 Jewish Prague
This tour offers a look at the former Jewish Ghetto in Prague which has a long history, going back to the 12th century. Several historical buildings are preserved in this quarter, called Josefov at the present. There are various legends connected with it, which contribute a lot to the reputation of Prague as a mystical city. The Jewish Quarter is definitely one of the main places to visit if you are in Prague. In this tour you will see four famous synagogues: Maisel Synagogue, Klausen Synagogue, Pinkas Synagogue and Spanish Synagogue. You will also get to walk through Prague's oldest Jewish cemetery which dates back to the 14th century.
